We established Corabar Entertainment in 1997 in Chesham, Buckinghamshire, and later operated in Barnet, Hertfordshire for many years. In 2019, we moved to Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, and have been here ever since. but who are we?
One of our original founders moved abroad many years ago, but Steve, the other founder, remains here. He runs the business with his partner, Angela, who has also been involved since the very beginning. Both of us are passionate about what we do.
Steve is our resident technical expert and primary DJ, whilst Angela handles most of the administration, runs the photobooth and handles some of the venue dressing.
We have other members of staff who work with us as required – either DJs, drivers, photobooth assistants, or venue dressing assistants.
Although we have previously worked in other industries—Steve in hospitality and Angela in law—this business is our full-time occupation and focus, and has been for a long time. This means we can devote time to every single client and party.
Over the years, we have expanded our services, but our core values remain the same. Taking a professional approach allows you to relax, knowing everything is in expert hands. Customer satisfaction remains our top priority, and we tailor our services to suit every function, party, event, and wedding.
We are proud of our reliability record and reputation and do everything possible to maintain it.

Sorry I haven’t been in touch sooner to say thanks for a great night. [The DJ] was great – it was a shame the meal and speeches went on so long, but next time we know what to do. Look forward to seeing him again on the 30th July for the wife’s 40th. Thanks again it was really good.

Thank you Steve and Angela – you did a wonderful job with our wedding day. Amazing value because of your set up with Brook Farm, so that’s one massive plus, but the set up and execution was brilliant as well. Steve managed the sound for the ceremony and reception perfectly and then did a wonderful job mixing up the playlist for the evening session. And no dramas in organisation from Angela so all in all, excellent service.

Very Personal
Very helpful, and very personal to what I wanted. The service and the price were great. The DJ was extremely polite and helpful. He was extremely patient with our autistic son – whereas others could have dealt with him in a different manner. It made our evening stress-free & we had good comments from guests. My autistic son loved the lights/different shape ones (flowers, hands) and [the DJ] kept him entertained. I don’t think you could improve.
