Brook Farm Cuffley in Hertfordshire is a lakeside marquee site wedding venue set in a tranquil, secluded location, yet conveniently close to public transport, excellent road links, and nearby hotels.

This is an ideal venue for brides & grooms who really want to customise their wedding. Brook Farm supplies the essentials: from the field with its lake and landscaping, through to generators, toilets, and a PA system for music and speeches. All of this is included in the hire cost, which makes it better value than many marquee sites where you would have to organise all this yourself. You choose and organise everything else to suit your tastes. This includes the marquee style, caterers, bar, decorations, entertainment and other services. Brook Farm does offer recommendations for reliable suppliers, and we are proud to be one of them (although you aren’t limited to their suggestions).
Outdoor Ceremonies and Capacity
There is no permanent structure on site, so the venue does not hold a licence for legal ceremonies. However, there is plenty of scope for outdoor blessings and ceremonies with a celebrant. These ceremonies are usually conducted outside along the naturally-occuring pine-tree aisle adjacent to the lake.
Although there is plenty of room on site, local council regulations limit the site to a 200-person capacity, and only a limited number of weddings can be held here each year between March and October, making it a very exclusive venue.

The site offers a large, level area suitable for temporary structures such as tipis, yurts, sailcloth or traditional marquees. As mentioned above, ceremonies are typically held lakeside along the pine tree aisle. Furthermore, a causeway leads to an island in the lake, which is popular for drinks receptions. Excellent drainage ensures no muddy shoes or dresses, plus ample parking is available.

The real beauty of weddings at Brook Farm is that no two weddings there are the same: Every wedding at Brook Farm is unique. This is certainly not a one size fits all type of venue.
