Just like traditional wedding receptions, we understand that the day of your Civil Partnership ceremony is the most important day of your lives.

You want everything to be perfect for your special day, and the entertainment at your reception will leave a lasting impression on you and your guests and how you remember your reception. The evening is when you can finally relax, enjoy the company of your friends and family and really celebrate.

We do not offer 'packages', and instead build a personal package with you based upon the infomormation you provide to us.

Quite often, the guests at your reception will be from a wide range of backgrounds, tastes, and ages, and therefore the music needs to be tremendously varied, so that everyone leaves at the end of the night feeling that there was something for them: But, obviously, we will also take into consideration your personal likes and dislikes and what you would like played.

In our experience, Civil Partnership Receptions can take many forms: either adopting a traditional wedding format, or a less formal 'party' type event. Even if you choose the style of a traditional wedding, wedding traditions vary from place to place and family to family.

We make sure that we get as much information as possible from you before your big day so that the DJ can make the evening more personal to those involved. Once you have make a firm booking with us, you will be provided with a password to access your own private area on this website which contains your planning form (which asks for greater detail about your reception), your event timeline (so that you can provide us with an itinerary for the day), and your song request form. You can add information to these forms as and when, save it, and return another time to add some more information. We will also create another webpage and supply you with a password that you can pass on to your guests (if you so wish) to allow them to make requests too (subject to your final approval).

If you do not wish to use the interactive forms on this site, you can download forms to print off and post back to us, or we will gladly post paper copies to you for completion.

At every step of the way, we want to provide you with the tools to make planning your evening entertainment as easy as it can be, as well as the best that it can be.

We will always try and accommodate any special request you may have - musical or otherwise. If you request songs in advance that we do not have, we will do everything in our power to get them for you (providing they are commercially available in the UK) and we will not charge for this.

Having said all of the above, we realise that not everyone knows exactly what they want and would appreciate some help and advice from us - which we are happy to give. If you are happy to leave the musical selection to our DJs, you will not regret it: They have spent years honing their skills and learning to 'read' a crowd.

Not sure about timings for the evening? Discuss it with us and we can come up with a rough 'timetable' to give the best flow to the evening. And don't forget, we have come across many other wedding professionals over the years, so if you are having trouble sourcing a particular item or service for your ceremony or reception, ask us if we know of anyone.

Many people prefer to have live music at their reception. Although this can be wonderful entertainment, bands rarely play more than 2 x one hour sets, or 3 x 40 minute sets - meaning that your reception can be a little 'stop-start'. If you book us as well as a live band, we can play before, during breaks, and after the band has finished giving you continuous entertainment throughout the evening. We have experience of, and are happy to work alongside any live entertainment you may have booked, or even recommend a couple of bands. Give us details of any band you have booked and we will contact them before your big day to obtain their set-list and make sure that we do not play the songs that they are going to play.
